Have you wanted to run the Franconia Ridge don’t want to deal with logistics and figuring out where to fuel/refill water?  If so our guides are excited to take you out for a fun day of running in the mountains!

The Franconia Ridge Traverse is one of the classic routes in the White Mountains which tests you physically and emotionally.  The Ridgeline will give you views you will never forget and a day that you will look back on and smile!  The route starts and finishes at the Old Bridle Path trailhead.  We will take you up the classic falling waters trail which you will get to see the beautiful waterfalls.  Once you make it above tree line you will get to enjoy incredible views of Cannon and the Kinsmans as well as breathtaking views of the Pemigewasset wilderness and Presidential Range in the distance.  The running is incredible along the spiny ridge as we run over Little Haystack, Lincoln, and Lafayette before heading down old bridle path.

Let our guides take you out for an incredible day on the trail where all you need to do is take in the views and run!

  • Meet in the morning at Old Bridle Path at 7am for briefing
  • The run will start at 7:30am

We have required gear that you will need to carry but it will be minimal.  We want to make your run as comfortable as possible so we will take care of food/water drops and on our overnight trips will set up and break down camp for you.

If you need help deciding on which gear to rent or purchase we would love to help you!  Feel free to send us a message using the form at the bottom of this page.

Information about the run and what your costs include

The pace of the group is determined by the slowest runners.  We will stay together as a group for safety reasons.  When we have enough guests to have two guides we can split into two different paced groups if desired and meet up at the summit of Lafayette.  If you are looking for a specific pace or support with an self guided attempt contact us and we can help you design your adventure.

For runners looking to do a fast traverse our guides can pace you on a  that.  Please reach out if you are interested in a private tour.

Your guides will navigate, watch the weather, make decisions to keep you safe, pace you, remind you to eat and drink.  All you need to do is show up in the mornings and let us do the rest!

Event FAQs

Why is this midweek?

The Franconia Ridge is one of the busiest hikes in the White Mountains.  We want to reduce the number of people on the trails by avoiding weekends.
